Responsibilities & Duties:

Perform visual inspection of welds in accordance with applicable standards
Verify welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and ensure compliance with project documentation
Check welder qualifications and verify that certificates are valid and appropriate for the scope of work
Prepare and issue inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and weld maps
Collaborate with the welding engineer and project team to ensure quality targets are met
Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project duration

Requirements:

Valid welding inspector certification: IWI-C
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Welding Inspector on industrial or construction projects
Solid knowledge of welding standards: EN ISO 3834, EN 1090
Familiarity with NDT methods VT, PT, UTT
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, weld symbols, and engineering specifications
Good command of English (written and spoken)
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to site conditions
EU work authorization required
